FESTIVE MENUS – ALL SEASON LONG
Every night between Tanksgiving and New Year’s Eve Chef Chris Carriker will be offering a special fxed-price, three-course dinner menu inspired by the celebratory spirit of the season. One menu in December will feature a whole duck-for-two prepared and served three different ways in three separate courses. Another is called “Te Miracle on 23rd St.,” and the special Christmas Eve Dinner menu is inspired by Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future.

There’s no shortage of creativity and talent in this kitchen.

Meet the Staff:

EXECUTIVE CHEF CHRIS CARRIKER
Chef Chris worked with us when we opened the restaurant in 2007 as the sous chef under Christopher Israel. Since then he has become famous for his gutsy approach to comforting and intriguing Pacifc NW, nose-to-tail, farm-to-table cooking. We are thrilled to have Chris in charge of our kitchen now, in this place where he can really fex his culinary muscles.

DUCK, DUCK EGG NOG
Family tension is an inevitable part of most holiday traditions, even in this BCR family of restaurants. Every year we offer a prize to the bartender who comes up with the best Egg Nog recipe. Te competition gets pretty intense …but 23H is defnitely a contender this year with Alex’s rendition that includes Vida (single village) Mezcal, Strega (Italian herbal liqueur),housemade holiday spice tincture, whole duck egg and cream. You be the judge and come sample one for yourself!
